PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic circuit device of an automatic transmission capable of further reducing the size and weight of the device by further efficiently securing an installation space of an oil passage. SOLUTION: First and second spools 12 and 13, a spring 14 and an H-shaped stopper plug 15 inserted into a spool hole 10a formed in a valve body 10 are prevented from coming off by making a key 19 inserted in a key groove 17 formed on the valve body 10 engaged with a groove 18 formed at the side periphery of the H-shaped stopper plug 15. By utilizing a space between the key groove 17 and the key 19 formed for the come-off prevention of such a control valve as a part of an oil passage penetrating from the upper surface of the valve body 10 to the lower surface thereof, the size and weight of the device are further reduced by further efficiently securing the installation space of the oil passage.
