PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane device capable of assuring a smooth flow of a treatment liquid and realizing a reduction of costs by avoiding the deformation of a treatment liquid passage by a tightening pressure even if a membrane supporting plate and a lid are made of an inexpensive general purpose resin.

SOLUTION: The membrane device 1 comprises a plurality of membrane modules 10 juxtaposed and each formed by arranging a planar membrane 102 on one side or both sides of a membrane supporting member 101. A treatment liquid discharge passage 103 is provided on at least one end side of the membrane supporting member 101. The sections of the treatment liquid discharge passages 103 of the membrane modules 10 are pressed inward from the direction perpendicular to the juxtaposing direction of the membrane modules, and the membrane modules 10 are fixed. The membrane supporting member 101 is molded from a general purpose resin. The treatment liquid discharge passage 103 is provided with a reinforcement member 16 for securing the cross-sectional area of the passage and an electric corrosion inhibiting means.
