PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content providing apparatus, etc. which produce content information for accessing to contents for each user based on a content view history for each user, and send the content information to a user device which transmits and receives.

SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an attribute information update part 119 which, when a content sending request 4 is received, extracts content identification information which specifies contents 3 to be sent in response to the content sending request 4 from the content sending request 4, and user identification information which can identify a content information transmitter-receiver 30 which sent information included in the content sending request 4 for accessing to the contents 3 to a content display process device 20 or a user of the content information transmitter-receiver 30, and which stores the extracted content identification information and user identification information, and a playback start state indicating that a playback of the contents 3 to be sent in response to the content sending request 4 is started, in a user attribute information storing part 121 correlatively.
