PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer device equipped with an improved operating performance as well in the situation where heat is transferred from a first heat mass to a second heat mass as in the situation where the second heat mass must be insulated thermally so as to hinder the heat transfer from the second heat mass to the first heat mass. SOLUTION: The heat transfer device is equipped with a surface including a variable absorption surface 20 interposed between a transparent wall 12 and a heat insulating module 14, exposed to solar irradiation through the transparent wall 12, and having an absorption region 20A and a reflection region 20R and movable shutters 22 arranged confronting the variable absorption surface 20, each having an absorption side surface 22A and/or a reflection side surface 22R, and movable between the absorbing region and/or reflecting region exposed to the solar irradiation and also movable at least between the first and second positions so as to change the absorption side surface and/or reflection side surface.
