The method involves heating a combination of a metal bearer layer (2) and an adhesive layer (4) as well as an electrically activatable material layer (3) between two essentially flat plates (P1,P2) to a temperature above the softening temperature of the adhesive, applying a force (F) orthogonal to the main plane of the combination and cooling it under pressure to below the softening temperature.
