<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact value information processor for processing at least coin-shaped electrical value information storage medium and a card-shaped value information storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: A value medium processing device for processing information stored in IC coins and IC cards to be recovered in the prescribed case comprises: a shared insertion slot in which a part of an insertion slot for the IC coins and a part of an insertion slot for the IC cards are duplicately formed; an IC coin passage for the IC coins which is inclined downward and formed to be continued from the shared insertion slot; a shared passage including an IC card passage duplicately formed with the IC coin passage to be continued from the shared insertion slot; a read/write means arranged near the shared passage and shared by the IC coins and IC cards; and a shared convey means for moving the IC coins or IC cards positioned in the shared passage at least in a taking-in direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
