<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for performing image processing with a small memory capacity without dividing an image into blocks in image processing for achieving the restoration of a blur image or the high definition of low resolution image. <P>SOLUTION: This image processing method for searching a clear image from a blur image includes: a process for converting the array of image data in which the pixel values of the blur image are stored from two-dimensional vectors into one-dimensional vectors; a process for converting all two-dimensional matrix arithmetic operations acting on one-dimensional vectors into the filtering of an image to the image data of the blur image, and for calculating the values of statistical parameters necessary for the calculation of objective functions for estimating the clear image and the gradient vectors of the objective functions; and a process for calculating the image data of the clear image by a numerical optimization method to be calculated by using only the gradient vectors so that the values of the objective functions can be maximized or minimized by using the calculated gradient vectors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
