<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing 3,4-diacyloxy-1-butene by isomerization by heating 1,4-diacyloxy-2-butene in the presence of an isomerization catalyst, with a higher yield rate with respect to the supply amount of a starting material, even not changing the isomerization catalyst, a composition of the starting material, and a chemical structure of 1,4-diacyloxy-2-butene used as the starting material, by avoiding the termination of the isomerization reaction due to attainment to equilibrium. <P>SOLUTION: The isomerization reaction is conducted while distilling away the generated 3,4-diacyloxy-1-butene by using a reactor equipped with a distillation device. The isomerization reaction is preferably carried out under heating to a temperature of not less than the boiling point of 3,4-diacyloxy-1-butene. Also, the isomerization reaction is preferably carried out under a reducing pressure. Further preferably, 1,4-diacyloxy-2-butene is continuously supplied and, at the same time, 3,4-diacyloxy-1-butene is continuously recovered from the distillation column top part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
