<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate the brain activity state at different times of a user. <P>SOLUTION: In an estimation preparation process, the hemoglobin concentration-related values (hemoglobin concentration change amount or hemoglobin concentration itself) of respective measurement channels are measured respectively in a plurality of periods in which a user is in different emotional states, feature vectors having cross correlation coefficients between the hemoglobin concentration-related values of the two channels selected by the combination of the measurement channel for the total number of the combinations of the measurement channels are calculated respectively for the plurality of periods, and clustering is performed by a self-organizing map. In an estimation performing process, the feature vector is calculated from the hemoglobin concentration-related value and turned to learning data, the feature vectors extracted as representative vectors from the respective clusters 76e, 76f and 76g of the result of clustering immediately before are turned to teacher data, mechanical learning is performed, the emotional state of the user at the time is estimated, and the feature vectors at the time are clustered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
