PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, suppressed in emission unevenness and excellent in coloring, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the display device comprises an organic electroluminescent material fixing process of coating a solution containing an organic electroluminescent material in a display pixel forming area, drying the solution, and fixing the organic electroluminescent material in a thin-film shape, and a barrier rib forming process of forming barrier ribs for partitioning the display pixels on an insulating film after the treatment of the organic electroluminescent material fixing process.
