PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety operation support system for enabling an in-vehicle unit to determine the operation method, in a short period of time. SOLUTION: Upstream on-road communication equipment 1 is installed at the entrance of a certain road section, and downstream on-road communication equipment 2 is installed at the exit of the road section. The downstream on-road communication equipment 2 receives self-vehicle probe data information including traveling locus information in the road section from each vehicle which has ended traveling in the road section. The received self-vehicle probe data information is transmitted to an information providing device 5 as necessary. Meanwhile, the other vehicle probe data information including the traveling locus information of one or more vehicles which have ended traveling in the road section are transmitted from the information providing device 5 to the upstream on-road communication equipment 1. Then, the upstream on-road communication equipment 1 transmits the other vehicle probe data information to the in-vehicle unit 6 of the vehicle which approaches the road section.
