PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating structure for sliding having improved lubrication effect and excellent sliding properties as compared with the prior art. SOLUTION: The coating structure for sliding comprises a metallic base material and a lubrication coating that covers the surface of the metallic base material. The lubrication coating is composed of heat-resistant resin having polyamideimide resin and molybdenum disulfide particles. The weight percent of the heat-resistant resin in the lubrication coating is 52 to 84 wt.%, and the weight percent of the molybdenum disulfide particles is 48 to 16 wt.%. An average particle diameter of the molybdenum disulfide particles measured by a laser diffraction/scattering type grain size measuring method is within a range of 0.7 to 2.7μm, and an average roughness (Ra) at the center line of the metallic base material is within a range of 0.2 to 0.6μm.
