PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko game machine capable of accurately detecting the position of the origin of a movable body while miniaturizing a movable ornament device and reducing the cost thereof. SOLUTION: In executing a method of detecting the origin of the movable ornament body 31 supported by a support member fixed to a game board 3 in such a way as movable in the vertical direction, a shading plate 71 is lengthened so that the state of a sensor 70 is not changed from a shaded state to a light receiving state if the shading plate 71 descends too much from the lowest descending position. Then, the origin of the movable body 31 is detected in the rising edge where the state of the sensor 70 changes from the light receiving state to the shaded state while the movable ornament body 31 is lowered by a motor 51 and in the trailing edge where the state of the sensor 70 changes from the shaded state to the light receiving state while the movable ornament body 31 is raised by the motor 51 (S1-S6).
