#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves applying a foaming material e.g. foaming plastics, into a hollow body i.e. hollow space, over an opening (3) of the body. An opening (4) of the body is covered with a covering element (5) temporarily until the foaming material is hardened. The covering element is positioned over the opening (4) by a robot. The foaming material is applied to the hollow body by using a spraying device. The spraying device is arranged at the robot. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for foaming a hollow body i.e. hollow space (claimed), of a vehicle body in a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method ensures sealing effect using the covering element, and provides small density, good absorption effect and good corrosion resistance using the foaming material e.g. foaming plastics.
