摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a fault caused by short circuit of a switch device interposed and connected between an external power supply and a vehicle driving motor while a vehicle travels in the vehicle mounted with a power supply mechanism chargeable using the external power supply. <P>SOLUTION: Power lines 290, 295 connect the external power supply 402 to a neutral points 112 of a first MG 110 and to a neutral point 122 of a second MG 120 via a charging cable 300 and a connector 270. A DFR 260 is interposed and connected to the power lines 290, 295. An ECU 170 opens the DFR 260 when the vehicle travels, and closes the DFR 260 when the vehicle is in an external charging mode. When a voltage sensor 171 detects that a voltage difference of not less than a predetermined value is generated between the power lines 290 and 295 when the vehicle travels, the ECU 170 detects an abnormality in short circuit in which the DFR 260 is fixed in a closed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
