<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in which overall aberration of a device can be reduced without enlarging the device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device including a lens 11 whose outer periphery is held by a lens holder 26 has movable parts 27 arranged in a space 28 formed in the lens holder 26 in the circumferential direction of the lens 11. In the lens holder 26, wall surfaces 29, 30 forming the space 28 has irregularities along the circumferential direction of the lens 11. The movable part 27s have irregularities along the circumferential direction of the lens 11. A convex part at the lens holder 26 is in contact with a convex part at the movable part 27.
