<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium polymer battery having superior battery performance and higher safety. <P>SOLUTION: In the lithium polymer battery, an electrolyte for a solid electrolyte including a crosslinkable material, a solvent, and lithium electrolyte salt is poured into a container capable of sealing up together with a battery material including a separator and an electrode material, the electrolyte for a solid electrolyte made into a solid electrolyte by making the electrolyte for a solid electrolyte gel on the basis of crosslinking of the crosslinkable material.
