<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for smoothly processing jobs while reducing costs in an image processing system with a plurality of image processors. <P>SOLUTION: Each image processor in an image processing system including a storage device and a plurality of MFPs, (2) when data of unprocessed job is stored in the storage device, (5) stores information, showing conditions used when its own device processes the job, in the storage device, (6) acquires the information stored in the storage device by other devices, (7) compares the information in the own device and the other devices with one another to determine whether or not to process the job by the own device, (11) starts the processing of the job if it is determined to process the job by the own device, (12) and when detecting abnormality in processing the job, (13) executes a takeover process for transferring the job processing to the other devices. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
