<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the temporal selection of the format of prescription and the successive automatic trial of the specification of a medical facility from becoming useless when materializing a prescription reception system by distribution and centralization. <P>SOLUTION: A pharmacy facility 10 is provided with a prescription scanning part 20 and a communication controller 11 as well as a medical receipt computer 12 or a dispensing management computer 14. A headquarter facility 40 is provided with not only means 45 and 46 for receiving a visual image A through the Internet 30, and for acquiring prescription data B by performing character conversion processing to the picture image A, and for returning the prescription data B to the medical receipt computer 12 but also a database 42 in which the formats of prescriptions specified for every medical institute are stored and a means 44 for registering several medical institutes as selection candidates for every pharmacy and a means 45 for selecting the format of the prescription related with the medical institute of the selection candidate from the database, and for providing it to the character conversion processing in performing the character conversion processing.
