MOTOR CONTROL DEVICE FOR POINTER-TYPE INDICATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of achieving a pointer-type indicator used for a mechanical analog-type indicator, without giving uncomfortable feeling to look at by smoothly moving a pointer.

SOLUTION: This motor control device 1 includes: a motor drive unit 12 for driving a motor 13 mounted with the pointer on an output axis; a data receiving unit 10 for receiving data Da output from a sensor 3 every predetermined time; and a motor drive control unit 11 for controlling the motor drive unit 12 based on the data Da received by the data receiving unit 10. The motor drive control unit 11 calculates the amount of rotation of the pointer based on two received data Da every time the data receiving unit 10 receives two data Da; sets the traveling time of the pointer based on the reception time of the two data Da; calculates rotation speed for moving the amount of rotation in the traveling time; and controls the motor drive unit 12 so that the pointer moves to a targeted position in the traveling time at the calculated rotation speed.
