<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current drive type actuator drive control unit that can undergo speed feedback by cost control. <P>SOLUTION: In a positioning control system 10 for a gas pressure servo valve, a position of a spool 24 is detected by a displacement sensor 42 and is compared with a position command 52 to obtain a deviation which is multiplied by a gain G<SB>1</SB>for a speed command. The speed command is compared with the speed of the speed of a control target, and the deviation is multiplied by a gain G<SB>2</SB>for a driving command, which is output into a current booster 62. In the current booster 62, a diving command is converted into a driving current and is supplied to a moving coil 36 of a force motor 40 to move the spool 24. An output of the current booster 62 is integrated by a speed calculator 66, converted into speed information and is returned to a subtractor 58 by a speed feedback group 67.
