<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic wedge brake system capable of further stably achieving a reliable parking operation by preventing the termination of a parking braking force. <P>SOLUTION: By providing a main braking function by a self-boosting action by a wedge action by driving a single motor 13, not only the overall cut-down of component usage and the simplification of a structure is achieved by using the single motor 13 but also various additional functions such as a pad setting interval keeping function, a wheel lock preventing function and an EPB function of parking braking are provided by a solenoid related to an NSL-type screw for supporting an axial reactive force transmitted from a pad side while moving in the axial direction; and by changing over by the power of the motor 13, an NSL-type push rod shaft 31 supporting the axial reactive force in parking braking to a forced restrained state, the termination of the parking braking force is prevented even in the change over of the solenoid 41 to an off-state, and a reliable parking operation can be further stably achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
