PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having high mobility, large current on/off-ratio and superior in storage stability. SOLUTION: The organic transistor has an organic semiconductor layer, which contains at least one kind of compounds represented by general formula (1). In formula (1), X<SB>1</SB>to X<SB>18</SB>each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl group, a straight-chain, branching or cyclic alkoxy group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; and n represents 0 or 1.
