PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device capable of safely and efficiently controlling an industrial vehicle. SOLUTION: This safety device 1 has a load sensor 71 for detecting a load value of a load loaded on a lift device 14, a display section 50 for displaying the load value detected by the load sensor 71, a confirmation switch 72 operated when a driver of a forklift 10 has confirmed the load value displayed in the display section 50, and a loading controller 33 for performing restriction control so as to restrict the lifting operation of the lift device 14.
