The helicopter (1) has a rotor unit (3) provided with a rotor head (31) and rotor blades (32), where a hollow space for feeding of a compressed gas is formed in the rotor blades. The compressed gas is guided by the hollow space in the rotor blades outward to thrust nozzle devices (34) at blade tips (33). A drive body exhibits a number of drive units e.g. gas turbines, corresponding to the number of rotor blades, where one of the drive units is attached to one of the rotor blades and is arranged adjacent to the rotor head. A fuel tank is arranged in the rotor head.
