<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-wire water cut-off method for protecting a water cut-off place by a water cut-off material for a long time and improving reliability of water cut-off. <P>SOLUTION: In the inter-wire water cut-off method, water is cut in a core wire 75 of a covered cable 72 constituting a wire harness 70 by a water cut-off material S. The method includes a filling step of filling the core wire 75 with the water cut-off material S from an exposure part R of the core wire 75 in the covered cable 72, a mold installation step of covering a periphery of the exposure part R of the core wire 75 with which the water cut-off material S is filled by a lower mold 81A and an upper mold 81B, and a molding step of filling a filling space in the lower mold 81A and the upper mold 81B with resin formed using the same material as that of an insulating covering 77 of the covered cable 72 and molding the exposure part R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
