<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the security of encryption algorithms regarding data security. <P>SOLUTION: The device has: an input port which receives a master key; a divider; a data transformer; a coupler, a hash part; a key derivation function part; a key wrapping function part; an encryption function part; and an output part, divides the master key into a first segment and a second segment, couples the first segment to an encoded counter, hashes the first coupled segment, determines two numbers from remainder by dividing the second segment by the modulus, uses the two numbers and the modulus to define a general-purpose hash function, applies hash results to a general-purpose hash function, and selects a bit as the derivative key from a result of second hash. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
