PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven microscope capable of making easy an operation when replacing an optical element. SOLUTION: A microscope system 1 is provided with a transmission turret 6 for holding a plurality of filters 5 and for switching an arrangement of the filters 5, a stepping motor 21 for driving the transmission turret 6, and a transmission turret control part 25 for controlling the stepping motor 21 to control the arrangement of the filters 5. The transmission turret control part 25 stops the driving of the stepping motor 21, and controls the transmission turret 6 to allow manual turning. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
