PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle that can simplify the structure of its display unit and reduce the product cost. SOLUTION: This display device D for a vehicle is equipped with the display unit 1 and an indicator 2a disposed in front of the display unit 1, wherein an index part 1a displayed on the display unit 1 is indicated by the indicator 2a and is also equipped with a translucent substrate 3 disposed in front of the display unit 1, a ring-shaped support body 2c disposed on the translucent substrate 3, while being linked to the indicator 2a, a gear part 2c2 provided on the support body 2c, and a drive means 2b provided outside the support body 2c to make the indicator 2a turn, by making the support body 2c turn, while made to meshing with the gear part 2c2.
