PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure in a suction nozzle for a turbine type vacuum cleaner, capable of avoiding such a situation as the reduction of speed of rotation or stop of rotation of a rotary brush caused by the dust caught in a turbo-fan. SOLUTION: The suction nozzle 101 for the vacuum cleaner has a casing 31 having a dust sucking opening and a turbine-driving air intake. The casing 31 has a brush chamber 32 communicating with the dust sucking opening, a dust sucking path 33 communicating with the brush chamber 32, and a turbine chamber 34 disposed adjacent to the dust sucking path 33 and having the upstream side communicated with the turbine-driving air intake. The dust sucking path 33 and the turbine chamber 34 are separated by a partition wall 35. The downstream side of the turbine chamber 34 and the downstream side of the dust sucking path 33 join together. The turbo-fan 37 is disposed inside the turbine chamber 34 to be rotated with the air current from the turbine-driving air intake. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
