PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bamboo-cutting attachment designed so as to prevent a cutting means from going out of action or being damaged during cutting even when a bamboo tree moves to creep due to wind for example, and enable the bamboo tree to be cut so as to make the remaining root part thereof scarcely project from the ground surface so that an operating machine safely goes into a bamboo forest after cutting the bamboo tree to improve workability of the operating machine when cutting the bamboo forest using the attachment attached to the tip of the operating arm of the operating machine to cut the bamboo forest. SOLUTION: The bamboo-cutting attachment (A) is provided with: a mounting frame 1 attachable to the operating arm of the operating machine; a base frame 3 turnably attached to the mounting frame 1 via a turn-driving device 2; gripping members 4, 4a arranged in a base frame 3 and driven by a hydraulic cylinder 45 to grip the bamboo tree; and a cutting blade 51 and a chain saw mounted on the base frame 3 and turning and cutting the bamboo tree gripped and held with the gripping members 4, 4a.
