More particularly, disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition effective for preventing or treating dependence and spontaneous movements by using a drug acting against the vanilloid receptor Capsazepine, which is used as a drug acting against the vanilloid receptor, shows an excellent effect of alleviating conditions of cocaine dependence and addition during the development and recurrence thereof. Administration of the drug acting against the vanilloid receptor provides important information in developing an agent for preventing and treating drug dependence and addiction.
