The automatic electro-mechanical gear has an output shaft (w4) of an internal combustion engine (VM). The output shaft is connected with a gear ring of a planetary gear (PG) and with an input shaft (w1) of a double gear (DG) by a separation clutch (K0) in torque-proof manner. A shaft (w3) of an electric machine (EM) is connected in torque-proof manner with a sun wheel of the planetary gear. A bar of planetary gear is connected with a gearbox input shaft (w2) of the double gear in torque-proof manner. An independent claim is included for a method for controlling an automatic electro-mechanical gear.
