<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streaming distribution apparatus generating no delay on switching a channel. <P>SOLUTION: The streaming distribution apparatus distributes streaming data to an image reproducing apparatus through an indicated channel, in accordance with the channelling indication of a network from the image reproducing apparatus. The apparatus has: a channel-indicated receiving means for receiving the channelling indication; a streaming-data distributing means for distributing the channelling indication, and an error correction means for retransmitting the streaming data when no response is received to the distributed streaming data.
