<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor with a pulley capable of maintaining the comfortable traveling of a vehicle even when the compressor is in an emergency without almost causing the rise of production cost. <P>SOLUTION: This compressor with a pulley comprises a compressor 100 and the pulley 200 and is used for an air conditioner for a vehicle. The compressor 100 comprises housings 1-3, a drive shaft 13 rotatably supported on the housings 1-3 in the housings 1-3, and a compression mechanism 17 for compressing a refrigerant by rotating the drive shaft 13 in the housings 1-3. The pulley 200 comprises a rotor 53 rotatably supported, through a radial bearing 30, on the housings 1-3 outside the housings 1-3, and a hub 51 joined to the drive shaft 13 and transmitting the rotation of the rotor 53 to the drive shaft 13.
