<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door weather strip capable of enhancing the sealing property. <P>SOLUTION: The door weather strip is attached to a door peripheral edge of an automobile. An extruded part 7 mainly consisting of an upper ridge part of the door weather strip comprises a fitting base part 15 to be fixed to an inner panel 5 by a clip member 13, a hollow main seal part 16 to be pressed against a peripheral edge of a door opening, a sub seal lip 25 to be pressed against the peripheral edge of the door opening on the outer side of the automobile, a back lip 26 to be pressed against a flange part 27 formed on the peripheral edge of the door, a water discharge lip 30 extending from a side wall part 19 on the outer side of the automobile of the fitting base part 15 and pressed against the flange part 27, a water-stop rib 33 provided on a base bottom part 17 of the fitting base part 15 and pressed against a fitting surface 5b of the inner panel 5, and a support projecting part 34 which is projected inwardly from the base bottom part 17 of the fitting base part 15, and pressed against the side wall part 19 on the outer side of the automobile to form a pseudo hollow part 35 together therewith. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
