<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a brittle label capable of individual indication for the purpose of product management and quality assurance, excellent in physical and chemical resistance to light, solvent, or external force, and excellent in security to prevent forgery or alteration. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a brittle label includes: (1) a step of preparing a hard coat layer transfer foil consisting of a transfer foil substrate 11, a releasing layer 13, a hard coat layer 15, an ultraviolet absorption layer 16, and an adhesive layer 19; (2) a step of preparing a brittle label for printing consisting of a receiving layer 27, a label substrate 21, a patterned releasing layer 23, an ultraviolet absorption layer 26, a printing layer 28, an adhesive layer 29, and releasing paper 31; (3) an image forming step of printing, by an ink-jet system, an image 103 on the receiving layer 27 of the brittle label for printing; and (4) a transfer step of overlaying, on the receiving layer 27 with the image 103 formed thereon, the adhesive layer 19 face of the hard coat layer transfer foil and applying heat and pressure to transfer the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
