<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring unit having a return spring hardly coming off from a spring retainer. <P>SOLUTION: Among a plurality of projections of a retainer 62, at least one projection is an installing-locking projection 61 having at least two locking projections 611 and 612 locked with an inner diameter part of a spring 7 at an interval in the height direction and having at least two locking contact parts at an interval in the direction for positioning the inner diameter part of the spring 7. The spring 7 is always locked by two or more of locking projections 611 and 612. Thus, the interference of the spring 7 is always maintained by these two or more of locking projections 611 and 612.
