<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize surplus power in a computer system comprising a plurality of computers. <P>SOLUTION: Power adjusting means WC1-WCn adjust the power consumption of the individual computers C1-Cn so as not to exceed the maximum permission power set in the computers. A control means CONT monitors the excess or deficiency states of power in the individual computers C1-Cn, and reduces the maximum permissible power in the computer with the excess of power, and increases the maximum permissible power of the computer with the deficiency of power on the condition that the total sum of the maximum permissible power set in the individual computers C1-Cn does not exceed the power upper limit set value of the whole computer system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
