<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper brake torque receiver for rolling stock which can offset torque generated in a brake arm by tangential force or the like of the brake pad during actuation of a brake. <P>SOLUTION: A caliper brake of rolling stock comprises a substrate 2, a pair of brake arms 1 supported turnably and swingably with the degree of freedom in every direction through a spherical bearing against the substrate, and one end part of a pair of brake arms is swung and pressed by the operation of the actuator provided in the substrate side and the brake pad 4 installed in the other end part of the brake arm is pressed to the disc rotor. A torque receiver of the caliper brake for rolling stock is constituted by providing the brake arm with a torque receiver 6 for offsetting the torque generated in the brake arm by tangential force or the like of the brake pad at the time of actuation of the brake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
