<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of information of a region other than a feature region by specifying a background image with a smallest difference from an image constituting a moving video among a plurality of background images, as a similar background image. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor comprises: a section for detecting a feature region in a plurality of images constituting a moving video included in a moving video; a section 262 for detecting variation of the image in the background region, i.e., the region other than the feature region, from the moving video; a section 263 for generating transition information which shows transition of the image of the background region, and corresponds to a variation detected at the variation detecting section; and an output section for transmitting the transition information and the image of the feature region in a plurality of images constituting a moving video. The image processor is further provided with a section for generating a moving video including a plurality of composite images compounding an image in which the image of the background is transited according to the transition information received from the output section, and the image of the feature region received from the output section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
