PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processing device for surely preventing a failure or the like of a medium conveying mechanism due to collision by preventing the medium from being conveyed when the height of the medium stacked in a medium storage unit exceeds a full level. SOLUTION: In the media processing device 200, if the height of medium stacked in medium storage units 121 and 122 is at a full level or exceeds the level (step S33: Yes, step S35: Yes), a warning is given (step S34, step S36).
