PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system of taking into consideration a phenomenon of a flux and reflux of a tide and a sea swell, which uses reciprocating motion of the sea swell, providing a power generation quantity worth the construction cost. SOLUTION: This power generation system is formed as a structure repaid in 20 years. Influence of a tidal current is minimized by a tidal current absorbing fence, a flow guide and a tidal current absorbing plate. The tidal flow absorbing fence is removed in a typhoon, and a flow is moved and fixed to an upper part. The reciprocating motion of the sea swell is converted into unidirectional rotary motion by using a vertically moving gear (coming-out of a tooth). Assuming the ratio of the flow height to the sea swell height as B=1/2/(0.5-C), buoyancy received by the flow provides maximum energy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
