PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated from a hermetic compressor when rotational speed of the hermetic compressor rapidly changes during start, stop or the like. SOLUTION: An air gap opening at an inner diameter wall surface near a mount 105 of an insertion part 141b of a support body 141 restricting an inner diameter part of an attachment hole 105a of the mount 105 in a horizontal direction is circumferentially provided. Since inertia force of a rotor is released by moving the hermetic vessel 101a in a horizontal direction of the mount 105 to make an electric element and a compression element not easily collide with an inside of the hermetic vessel 101a, noise generated when rotational speed of the hermetic compressor rapidly changes during start, stop, or the like can be reduced.
