PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural member for a rainwater storage and permeating system, which is easy to assemble, and to provide the rainwater storage and permeating system using the structural member. SOLUTION: A skeletal member 1 is formed in one body of a plurality of projective sections 2 arranged around a central portion in a manner being circumferentially spaced away from each other, and a plurality of receiving sections 3 arranged between the projective sections 2 circumferentially adjacent to each other. When the skeletal members 1 are vertically stacked on each other, a lower portion of the projective section 2 of the upper-side skeletal member 1 is positioned to a location corresponding to the receiving section 3 of the lower-side skeletal member 1, and therefore the lower portion of the projective section 2 of the upper-side skeletal member 1 is received by the receiving section 3 of the lower-side skeletal member 1. Thus only by horizontally rotating the upper-side skeletal member 1, and matching the location of the projective section 2 to the location of the receiving section 3 of the lower-side skeletal member 1, positioning of the skeletal members is facilitated. As a result, compared with a conventional technique which requires the operator to alternately inverting the skeletal members upside down to stack skeletal members on each other, assembly work of the present skeletal members is facilitated.
