PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bio-toilet capable of avoiding environmental pollution. SOLUTION: A solid-liquid separating device 2 separates human waste flowing from a toilet bowl 1 together with washing water, into solid and liquid components, and a solid component agitating device 3 agitates the separated solid components with a mushroom bed containing bio-fungi and breaks down it to disappear. On the other hand, a liquid component filtering device filters and regenerates the separated liquid components, and a washing water circuit 5 circulates it as washing water into the toilet bowl 1. Near the solid component agitating device 3, a ventilating fan 6 with a nano-filter 7 is arranged for deodorizing inside air and releasing it to the outside. The bio-fungi in the mushroom bed of the solid component agitating device 3 are not single pure fungi, and they consist of such mixed fungi that a plurality of types of fungi are mixed, namely, of thermophilic antinomyces fungi such as thermophilic actinomyces fungi and thermophilic bacteria such as bacillus fungi. In the center of the upper part of the solid component separating device 2, a through-hole is provided through which the solid components pass.
