PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incense with a prolonged burning time. SOLUTION: The invention provides incense with a prolonged burning time without adding any combustion improver to the raw materials of the incense. A spiral concave groove 13 is formed in the diameter direction on the outer surface of the body 12 formed by molding or general processing method from the raw material of the incense. The center of burning changes by the concave groove 13, in burning of the body 12, and the burning path of the body 12 receives interference and retards burning rates. The burning time of the incense is prolonged without pollution of the environment as the incense is free from the combustion improver.
