PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector kit which adopts a ferrule with optical fiber, in which a short optical fiber is preliminarily attached to the ferrule and which is subjected to end face polishing processing, and in which all connector components constituting an optical connector including the ferrule with optical fiber are housed in a housing case. SOLUTION: The optical connector kit includes: the ferrule with optical fiber in which the short optical fiber is preliminarily attached to the ferrule, and is subjected to end face polishing processing; a plurality of connector components to be inserted into the optical fiber in advance when the rear end of the short optical fiber and the tip end of another optical fiber are fusion-spliced; and the housing case for housing all connector components constituting an optical connector including the ferrule with optical fiber and inserting components. In the housing case, other connector components can be held in an accommodated state, in a manner that the connector components for the use of fusion-splicing including the ferrule with optical fiber and the inserting components can be taken out.
