PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera adjusting method for adjusting a camera set in accordance with each inspection object part of vehicles with one kind of vehicle even when a plurality of vehicles are mixed. SOLUTION: A camera adjusting method comprises steps of: selecting one kind of vehicle as a reference vehicle out of a plurality of vehicles (step S2); computing a displacement amount of a position of the inspection object part of another kind of vehicle with respect to the inspection object part of the reference vehicle (step S3); setting a displacement amount display device, attached to the reference vehicle, and indicating the displacement amount of the position (step S4); and adjusting a camera which photographs the inspection object part of the plural kinds of vehicles, based on the set displacement amount display device (step S6, S7).
