PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact water-refrigerant heat exchanger capable of improving heat exchanging performance. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger includes a large-diameter pipe 12 in which the water is circulated, a small-diameter pipe 11 in which a refrigerant is circulated, and an intermediate-diameter pipe 13 closely kept into contact with an outer surface of the small-diameter pipe 11 at its inner surface. As a part of the outer surface of the intermediate-diameter tube 13 and part of an inner surface of the large-diameter pipe 12 are kept into contact with each other, the heat of the refrigerant is transferred to the large-diameter pipe 11 through the intermediate-diameter pipe 13, the heat is radiated not only from the outer surface of the intermediate-diameter pipe 13 but also from the inner surface of the large-diameter pipe 12, and a heat transfer area can be improved.
